Daniele Gatti conducts the indestructible ballet score by Sergei Prokofiev. His Romeo & Juliet has everything: star-crossed lovers, a family feud, duels, dancing, a wedding and a dramatic finale at a tomb. But Shakespeare was not the only one to influence the music: Prokofiev had to deal with Stalin, too.
